Waterless Printing
Waterless printing is a process by which water (dampening system) is removed from the printing process. This is achieved through the use of special-plate technology, specially formulated inks and by controlling the press temperature. Waterless printing provides high quality, professional and breath-taking results. This commercial offset printing process, versus conventional printing, allows the press operator better control over print quality from color consistency to color saturation to reproduction detail.
Our commercial offset printing process, through the deployment of waterless printing, has been calibrated to image plates at 300 line screen at 4000 dpi. This process offers amazing detail and quality that is far superior to others in the commercial printing industry. Don't be fooled by stochastic or other newly introduced printing methods which attempt to imitate waterless printing. At PrintingHQ, we have tested and compared the newer printing methods and they all fall short of the quality that waterless printing delivers. A dedication to providing professional results and the best quality in the printing industry is why we remain dedicated to waterless printing.
In addition to the benefits seen in print quality, waterless printing also benefits to the environment. With the ability to get to color faster (than conventional printing) and maintain accurate color throughout the entire run, waterless printing reduces the total amount of make ready sheets required to produce a job. Since water isn't required to adhere ink to the sheet, water conservation occurs naturally with waterless printing. Waterless printing also allows the reduction and elimination of dampening-related VOC's. We take pride in knowing that our commercial printing process is cutting edge and our technology allows us to to make a difference in the world in which we live. We believe a reduction of the environmental impact is important as precious resources become more and more scarce.
