Our clients are the greatest!

At the first of this month, I started growing a charity mustache to raise awareness and funds for the Livestrong and American Prostate Cancer Societies. I did not really know how receptive my clients would be, but they really surprised me and came together and donated a total of $170.00!!! I joined up with a team of guys, who each did not think they would raise much money, but were more into the fun of the project. As of today, we’ve raised over $4500.00 collectively. As I’ve been talking to other teams they are doing about the same. Who knew? I mean a few hundred guys not shaving the hair under their nose and raising serious money for a serious cause.

This was an experiment in fun, Copy Craft been great my clients have been great, everything is great.

Now, I’ve been growing. Soon it’s time to start mowing, or grooming. I went with the classic handle bar style, so I would be able to cut back if needed. Here’s where our blog readers come in, you get to choose what stash I keep.

#1 keep the handle bars and let the 70’s live!
#2 The detective, that’s right I’ll go Magnum.
#3 The actor, frankly my Dear I don’t give a ….

You choose. Post it on the blog, in the next couple of days. Over the Holiday I will groom for the release party on the 30th!

“Pinktober” is over this year and Copy Craft made some money for the The Susan G Komen For the Cure program, thanks to all of our clients who ordered business cards, but the giving spirt is far from over.  That program was such a success and so many of our clients pulled through to help out that we here have decided to continue the trend into November.

We are getting behind the MOVEMBER (visit their site) movement.  Haven’t heard about it?  Well, you soon will, as it is sweeping the world.  Movember is a celebration of the moustache, dudes like myself, start growing a “Stash” or “MO” November 1^st and vow to keep it through the end of the month.  These are charity moustaches and we attempt to raise donations for said stashes.  U.S. donations go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

So it’s a fun event to raise money for a serious cause.  I’m working to “change the face of men’s health” one stash at a time.  I am growing it all month Voting for type of Stash will begin 23^rd and end on 27^th.  So I can groom over the weekend for Monday the 30^th for the GREAT STASH PRESENTATION.
