What do you like about your current commercial printer? What would you change?
I recently had a discussion with an individual who had recently become dissatisfied and frustrated (due to a decrease in service quality) with his commercial printing company — this individual had been a loyal customer of another large and well known printing company for years. He was quick to point out that price and product quality were always top-notch, but those two things only carried so much weight. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt and in an effort to maintain a good relationship he took his issues to the owner of the company.
After discussing the issues he was having, his frustrations and expressing concerns, he claims there has been no improvement in performance. The lack of responsiveness to resolving his issues has led him to begin looking for another printer which lead him to Copy Craft. After finding us on Twitter then reading our blog, he was amazed at the amount of open communication we had with client & non-client alike.
After our conversation, I began to think that this individuals story can’t be a unique one — there must be many whom have had issues arise and have tried to solve them without any success.
At Copy Craft we always want to know from our clients; the who, what, when, why and hows when something goes right or wrong. By listening we are able to expand on the positives and work to eliminate the negatives. While we attempt to learn from our current client base, after my conversation with the individual, I realize there is a great deal to be learned by those out there who aren’t yet our clients and even those whom are perfectly happy with their current printer.
This leads to the open questions…
- What does your current commercial printer do well and what could they do better?
- What is one thing you would change about your current commercial printer?
- What would make you switch to a different commercial printer?
